Lesson Guidlines

As a music teacher, I strive to provide the best learning experience for my students. To ensure a smooth and consistent learning experience for everyone, please review our studio policies.

Operating Hours

Tuesdays: 4:00pm - 7:30pm
Wednesdays: 2:30pm - 8:00pm
Thursdays: 9:00am - 8:30pm

Materials & Fees

For Piano Students: $50 (Includes: Notebook, Binder, Tote bag, Flash cards, Metronome, Books) Note: If you provide your own tote bag, the fee is adjusted to $45. For Voice and Guitar Students: $30 (Includes: Notebook, Lesson Book, Tote bag) Note: If you provide your own tote bag, the fee is reduced to $25.

Invoice & Payment Terms

Monthly fees are due on the 7th of the month being paid for (e.g., September's fees are due September 7th). Late fees of $5/week will be issued on the 8th of the month until paid. Invoices are issued and accepted through QuickBooks via email. Preferred payment methods are cash, check, or Venmo (Venmo: @Cassandra-Duignan).

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, 50% of the lesson fees will be applied towards the next lesson. For cancellations with more than 24 hours notice, 100% of the lesson fees will be applied towards the next lesson. Makeups for illness or emergency will be scheduled. If not possible, the next month's invoice will be prorated. If I must cancel, a makeup lesson will be scheduled.

Vacation & Away Dates

Please provide as much advance notice as possible for vacations/away dates (30 days notice recommended) to help fill empty slots. (Applicable September through May).

Discontinuation of Lessons

With 30 days or more notice of discontinuation for weekly lessons, the final month will be prorated (if the last lesson is not on the last week of the month). Without 30 days notice, there will be no prorating or refund.
